Position Title: Business Development Assiciate

Department: Business Development Center

Location: Mercedes-Benz of Westminster

Reports to: General Sales Manager

Number of Available Positions: 1

Purpose: As the first point of contact, the Business Development Associate is responsible for supporting the dealership's New and Pre-Owned departments while providing superior client experiences via telephone and the internet.

Essential Duties:

  • Handle all inbound sales calls, not directed to the Sales Representatives.
  • Schedule appointments using dealership-approved forms.
  • Place a high number of outbound sales calls.
  • Listen to and help interpret customer's statements accurately.
  • Respond to all Internet requests.
  • Utilize company scripts.
  • Set sales appointments for client visits.
  • Keep current with all products including make and model changes and/or enhancements, marketing initiatives and competitive offers.
  • Actively participate in all team meetings, training and events
  • Maintain accurate files on database and communicate client feedback and trends to management for review.
  • Meet and exceed departmental benchmarks.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or the equivalent.
  • One to three years sales experience or college degree.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer experience with ability to type 50 wpm.
  • Professional, friendly and enthusiastic disposition.
  • Be self-motivated, organized and have the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to collaborate with other dealership personnel.
  • Call center experience preferred.
  • Must be a team player with impeccable honesty and integrity.
  • Maintain a high level of professional personal appearance and conduct.
