Purpose: As the first point of contact, the Business Development Associate
is responsible for supporting the dealership's New and Pre-Owned departments
while providing superior client experiences via telephone and the internet.
Essential Duties:
Handle all inbound sales
calls, not directed to the Sales Representatives.
Schedule appointments using
dealership-approved forms.
Place a high number of
outbound sales calls.
Listen to and help interpret
customer's statements accurately.
Respond to all Internet
requests.
Utilize company scripts.
Set sales appointments for
client visits.
Keep current with all
products including make and model changes and/or enhancements, marketing
initiatives and competitive offers.
Actively participate in all
team meetings, training and events
Maintain accurate files on
database and communicate client feedback and trends to management for
review.
Meet and exceed departmental
benchmarks.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or the
equivalent.
One to three years sales
experience or college degree.
Excellent verbal and written communication
skills.
Computer experience with
ability to type 50 wpm.
Professional, friendly and
enthusiastic disposition.
Be self-motivated, organized
and have the ability to multi-task.
Ability to collaborate with
other dealership personnel.
Call center experience
preferred.
Must be a team player with
impeccable honesty and integrity.
Maintain a high level of
professional personal appearance and conduct.
